In this section we explain what the API can and cannot do for you, so you can decide if our offering fits your needs 😉
The API provides secure access to the data available in our registered data sources (+10 institutions) and delivers this data in a standard, easy to manipulate way.
In the case of financial institutions, we adhere to Open Banking Standards to conform the raw data to a single standard, so you only need to learn one schema and then be able to perform comparisons, data checks and enrichment of events that live in your existing solutions.
By accessing your financial data in one place you can get a single view of your finances and build powerful solutions or enhance existing ones.
We will send you an email when certain events have finished or if a request has not been processed successfully.
You can schedule a job, such as checking your bank balance every day at 6pm, so you don't have to program recurring tasks.
Access to the data source is on a per request basis only, and all operations within our platform are encrypted until the data is sent back to you. We also value your privacy, so none of the data we receive is stored, let alone shared. Since we don't know any of your personal information, our systems can't access it or take any action on your behalf.
The API will only standardize the data to fit into a JSON format, but will not modify the values, apply formulas or masks to the data. Note that to comply with certain schemes, such as Open Banking, all data must be presented in ISO 8601 format, so the API will only present the value according to a defined criteria.
It's up to you to make decisions with the data you get, the API doesn't make assumptions on its own.
