## Activation Activating Synthetic Payments is **simple**: send an email to [soporte@khipu.com](mailto:soporte@khipu.com) requesting activation. Our team will ask you to define the following to get the service up and running: - **Suggested subject line** for transactions. E.g., “Payment of $2,000 to Juan Pérez” - **Transaction identifier prefix** (optional), to clearly distinguish which transfers are “external.” - **Notification URL** for Synthetic Payments (optional). If you do not specify a different one, we will use the **same URL** for notifications that you already have configured. **Attention** If you already work with notifications, you can keep your **same endpoint**, or separate the routes for **Khipu payments** and **synthetic payments**, depending on your integration strategy. ## Notifications and reconciliation - Notifications are issued **after** the statement has been read, which is why there is a **7 minute** window. Adjust your processes to **wait for confirmation** before releasing stock or marking orders as paid. - The information available corresponds to what is shown on the bank's **transfer statement**: amount, reference/subject, date, and other data that has been recorded. ## Reports and API Each transaction detected is **sent via API** and made available in **reports** that you can receive by **email** or view via **web services**. This facilitates **reconciliation** and cash control without changing your current payment flow. ## Costs There is no **set-up cost** or **fixed monthly fee**. Billing is adjusted to the current **commercial conditions** of your business. ## How to get started 1. Write to us at [soporte@khipu.com](mailto:soporte@khipu.com) requesting **Synthetic Payments**. 2. Define the **Subject**, the **prefix** (if needed), and the **notification URL**. 3. Perform an **end-to-end test** to validate your reconciliation.
